Who delivered Jesus when he was born?
I mean, was it Joseph? I kind of doubt that he was qualified. How did most births happen during those times? You'd think whoever it was should've at least gotten an honorable mention in the bible. Was it a midwife or some stranger passing by?

If it really happened as described in the Gospel, hen Joseph would have acted as 'midwife'. Woman do not actually NEED nay help to give birth, you know. It is a natural act. it is only because of the high death rate from women giving birth that the concept of the midwife or virth assistant arose. But even today, if a woman and man are left alone, and she gives birth, then barring complications, the baby will be born.

Jesus was Human - Not God ! He was born to Mary off Joseph ! He was a different person to others - where he had some powers, which even he was confused about - he did not know how to interpret what he had - So probably thought that he was God's son - May be the little bit of learning with the Brahmans during his stay in India might have fueled this idea !

In agrarian communities, there was the occasional midwife, but OBGYNs were the stock in only the richest classes. The blessed virgin likely did what most birthing mothers before Henry the 8th did...squatted.
