Yes. I'm pretty sure 2.8M pre-orders is a record. It is also the most expensive video game ever made. And Pirates of the Caribbean 3 is the only movie in the world that spent more money than GTA V.

Im not sure. The game world isnt especially large. The graphics arent especially amazing. It will have longevity, though.
