Is it lonely where you are?

Congratulations! It's another yes/no answer. In terms of romantic love, it's been a bit lonely for the last few years. It's been even more lonely since I had to have my dog put down back in February.

I have friends in the neighborhood, easily within distance on crutches, as I discovered after falling out of a tree and landing wrong a few years back. It is, I discovered, impossible to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission when you're wearing a brace that goes from your hip to your ankle.

And I have friends throughout the state. The farthest drive is about 4.5 hours, I have friends in Colorado, which that's more of a special occasion trip for me, but they're there when I need them, same as I'm available when they need me.

I could deal with a little more love in my life, and I'm about ready to break down and get another dog. But with plenty of friends, I'm usually not too lonely.

NO...I'm PERFECTLY good company!!! The loneliest I've ever been was when I was married to my ex & that's when I learned the MEANING of the word lonely!!! Since then while remaining single, I've learned how to keep myself entertained!!! When ALL else fails, I go shopping or go to the local nursing home & visit with residents who have NO family that can be bothered with them!!!
