Tone of voice and body language is everything. just casually tell him in private. There's no easy way to say this, but don't make it into a big deal. Guys are pretty relaxed about things... trust me, I'm a high school teacher. Girls on the other hand could take it to heart. Guys grow up being called stinky and smelly :)

Sure you could give the talking to aid person a try!?! But to try help with your understanding of or about said situation.,. You might want to try asking/finding out how big or how much of a problem this may've been to or for said person !?! It just may be a nuber of reasons for this !?! FOR INSTANCE: Said persons water might: COLD all of the time because of a poor water-heating-system!?! (there is a better chance of killing bacteria with HOT water!?!,The type of soap used could also be a factor!?!, It also may be do to some sort of disability !?! And finding just the right products to rid of an oder just may not've worked-out well !?! Or YeT !?! ...;-/ oh`well nearly out of space for my other comments.!?! ;-`[} <G/L>~!!"?"!! r"R"r .,.

If you do tell about the issue be careful, some people can be very offended by that accusation. If you do tell, talk to a human resources expert first on how to handle that issue with that employee before you go to that actual employee

Well one thing you wouldn't want to do is embarrass him, I'm assuming that your the boss and he looks up to you. In other words how would you want to be approached if someone thought that of you? The best thing to do would be to pull him aside in a nice discrete manner.

Don't assume it's a hygiene problem. Some people can't use antiperspirants (I can't) and deodorants aren't effective for them, either.

Only one way. Talk to him in private and tell him he needs to bathe more often and use anti perspirant.
