Is GoAnimate free (and is it good)?

My understanding is that your first two minute video is free but is there any way to get some more without having to pay?

Also, will I be able to download the video onto a USB or something because I need to hand it in to my teacher for a class project.

Yes it is free. I'm not sure if you can transfer through a usb.
