What is the law for mandated break time requirement in California?

So, I was wondering, most importantly, when is the minimum amount of time working a shift that you are entitled to a break of any kind in California.

I am interested in all the rest of the break requirements, but most interested in the least amount of time that you can legally insist on a break. Also, what are the different times that require different break allotments.... Which are paid or unpaid breaks?

4 hours working ....__?_ minutes break required

6 hours working ?

8 hours working ?

10 hours working?

Also, is using the bathroom required to be within the counted break time?
