Why do some liberals ask us not to judge Islam by the acts of a few lunatics...?

Actually, as a liberal gun owner, I'm not at all put off by the proposals presently out there.

I don't think any one needs to have extended magazines because they kill too quickly.

At least some people could run out of range if the shooter had to stop to reload, the Giffords shooter was brought down during that time period, and while some can reload in seconds, most of the mass shooters are hyped on adrenalin and that does nothing to cut time.

No one group should be judged by the actions of a few, but when we are talking an individual who can kill large numbers, maybe its time to stop pretending on both counts, we need to know what's going on in the Muslim communities, because that, right now, is where terrorists are coming from, and we need national laws regarding fast access to background checks for gun purchasers and people who apply for gun licenses, and we don't need killing machines, just the fact that someone thinks they will be in a gun fight and need such a thing indicates a mindset that's pretty paranoid.

We don't do that. All we want is better background checks to make sure lunatics don't get guns. Is that too much to ask? Making sure crazy people don't have weapons? Maybe a couple liberals are against all gun owners, but they are just stupid. Why do conservatives judge all liberals by that acts of a few idiots?

Because some Libiots are what we call Libhadists. Libhadists, along with Al Quadocrats and Democrat Taliban (the Ku Klux Klan), like to join with other anti-American, un-American activists and traitors such as the Jihadists, Al Quada, Taliban and fellow terrorists to advance their agenda.

Basically the Libhadist sympathizes with the Jihadist in the pursuit of destroying America from within and without. The Libhadist cannot grasp the fact that as soon as they accomplish their mutual goals, the Jihadist will simply eliminate the Libhadist.

It goes back to the philosophy of Libiocy in which the Libiot thinks "If I just TALK with the others, they'll understand because I'm so smart and knowledgeable." We can see how well this worked for Neville Chamberlain with Adolf Hitler ("Peace in Our Time!") and now President "Asshat" Obama and Secretary of State John "Lurch" Kerry with Syrian President Assad. Assad has basically gotten away with everything and Asshat and Lurch look like, and are, the biggest tools on the planet.

So that's it in a nutshell.

We don't just judge guns by the acts of a few lunatics. Guns, even in the hands of non-lunatics, increase the chance of dying. This is well studied and well established.

The few lunatics get press, but numerically, the danger of guns is in an accidental shooting while a gun is being cleaned or when a family member is mistaken for an intruder or when an argument escalates into a shooting or when an abuser threatens with guns.

What are you talking about? This Liberal considers Islam a dangerous philosophy that advocates child rape and is even more repressive of women than the Virginia GOP. If it were up to me we would nuke Mecca and reduce that rock they all pray to to rubble.

Just because your brain trust at Fox News tells you Liberals say this or that does not make it true. Those guys are stone liars who cherry pick some Muslim apologist and then claim they represent every Democrat. That is as fair as if we claimed all Conservatives were Timothy McVeigh!

As for the gun regulation issue, this Liberal owns two legally purchased handguns as well as a rifle and shotgun. I know that not all gun owners are crazy, but some sure act like it. I fully support a ban on rapid fire weapons of all kinds, and a mandatory maximun size for magazines.

As a recreational hunter who keeps the pistols for home defense I have to ask what good they would do if the maniac outside can shoot a hundred rounds a minute right through my walls. Let us keep a sense of proportion here.

The Islamic people seem to accept these acts of terrorism as facts of life.

Unfortunately the American people are beginning to accept these gun slayings as routine.

We don't.

As a liberal, I think you can own as many guns as you want, as long as you're not a convict, aren't a mental patient and arent on the terror watch list( yes being on the list doesnt bar you from buying guns- you can't fly, but you CAN buy a gun= thanks NRA!!! )

Because it doesn't automatically follow that all Muslims are armed... by definition, all gun owners ARE.

I don't understand why you Americans want guns in your country.
