How do I welcome a Japanese Professor to give his speech, in Japanese?
I have a few Japanese guests coming over to my school for an exchange programme. I am the MC for the day and am wondering how I would invite the Professor up to the stage to give his speech?
His title is Professor Toyama, so do I call him Toyama-sensei?
If so, how do I invite him up to the stage in Japanese?

How about...
(introducing him)
honjitsu wa, ○○ daigaku no toyama kyouju ni okoshi itadaite orimasu.
(thanking)
toyama sensei, youkoso okoshi kudasai mashita.
If he's giving a short (greeting) speech:
早速ですが、富山先生より一言ご挨拶を頂戴したいと思います。
sassoku desu ga, toyama sensei yori hitokoto go-aisatsu o choudai shitai to omoimasu.
OR,
if he's giving a longer speech or a lecture:
これより、富山先生に○○についてお話をいただきます。
koreyori, toyama sensei ni ○○ ni tsuite ohanasi o itadaki masu.
toyama sensei, douzo yoroshiku onegai shimasu. *clap*

It really depends on how confident you are in your ability to do super formal keigo correctly. You could always just go with, "ãããããå¯å±±å çããããã«ã¤ãã¦çºè¡¨ãªããã¾ãã®ã§ãã©ãããããããé¡ããã¾ã” or something along those lines. As long as you stick to long forms and don't stutter or misrepresent him/her, you should be fine.(ããã should obviously be replaced with the topic at hand)
