Did the Republicans make a huge mistake when they named the Affordable Care Act Obamacare?

So if you make $180,000 and you sell your home for $190,000 your healthcare real estate tax is ZERO.

But it sounds SO much scarier if you don't tell the complete truth about it - and that is how the cons are trying to kill the ACA, by half truths and outright lies. Face it, that's just how they operate, they don't know how to tell the truth

And if they shut down government over the ACA, they will try to blame everyone but those responsible - themselves. Boehner is so backed into a corner I'm surprised he isn't stammering and crying every time he has to go to the podium and look like a fool.

I voted for Obama and the public option, but they lied to us and the media has ignored this; just like they are ignoring the fact that this Affordable Health Care is anything but affordable.

I live from pay check to pay check just like dozens do where I work and they are all healthy 20 and 30 something’s moaning and groaning to think they are going to have to shell out $150+ they don’t have for some catastrophic coverage that really equals no coverage because a $10K+ deductible is going to cause them to file bankruptcy anyways.

If the law truly goes into affect his name will live in infamy for as long as the law exists. Even the creators of the law now believe it shouldn't pass. Look at this way, a law that will affect America for generations was drawn up in less than 2 years, because they wanted to pass it 08-10 while Democrats had congressional majority, the way political strategists look at it, is that Democrats never intent-ed for it to pass they wanted Republicans to strike it down, and then they could put the finger on republicans for getting rid of health care, if it passes they know their incompetence will affect everyone. once midterms come, the law will be repealed.

The price of Obamacare has tripled, the debt it will cause is monumental. People are already losing their doctors. Employees are being cut back to part time. This is the train wreck promised by Max Baucas, the DEMOCRAT author of the bill

im sure the employees in many florida businesses would agree with you. virtually ALL of the employees of dennys, just to mention one, lost hours to make it under the limit for obamacare. there was no mistake here. its a truly unsustainable mess that over half of America doesn't want and cant afford and I applaud the courage of Boehner for standing up to this garbage.

Good, I hope everyone still loves it when they sell real estate and have to pay that 3.8 percent ObamaCare tax....or when that penalty become 4 digit one. LOL! The majority of Americans dislike ObamaCare.....that's good enough for me. LOL!
