Your View Of Bee Gees?

Disco/Early Psychedelic Rock. The 1950's, 1960's, and 1970's had some music to boast about.

The Bee Gee's are one of those groups that got me interested in Psychedelic Rock.

I do remember last week going into the store and seeing a yellow color Vinyl LP entitled:Stayin' Alive.

That song to me was the first "True" Disco song to have lyrics. Nowadays, i still have that LP along with 4 Bee Gee CD's:Saturday Night Fever (The OST), To Who It May Concern, Children Of The World, And This Is Where I Came In.

Some of the bee gees song's in like are:Stayin' Alive, You Should Be Dancing, And Saw A New Morning.

Your view?

2 BQS.

BQ:The Recent D.C. Shooting...It sounds and smells like it was staged...By someone in the government...Your thoughts?

BQ2:What are some Psychedelic Rock Bands? (i already know of the big 5)

I love the Bee Gees, I love their earlier career the best. They had 12 songs in the Top 20 and only 13 in their disco crazy. So in either era they were great. Very talent musicians and song/writers. I have all of their music mostly on vinyl. I also seen them live in the late 60s. And once in their disco era. My favorite two albums by them are 'Odessa' and Bee Gees 1st.

Some songs I like off of Odessa are:

I hate disco. But as disco bands go, the BeeGees were gods of their realm. They had butt-loads of musical talent, and they knew how to make a song that people wanted to hear. Their psychedelic stuff never got them anywhere on the charts, they were only famous for their disco songs.

BQ: You need to put down the bong and loosen the tinfoil around your head if you think that stuff is staged. The Matrix was not a documentary. I highly recommend you watch some of Penn & Teller's Bullsh*t on youtube to clear your head about conspiracy theories.

BQ2: Jefferson Airplane, Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, and Iron Butterfly. And Steppenwolf but not much.

    Bee Gees were great disco.

The DC shooting was a psycho nutjob and the government is doing everything it can to try to push for more gun control but in every mass shooting lives could have been saved if trained sane people had been armed. Its getting harder for the government to push for gun control and they know it.

BQ#2 Iron Butterfly. King Crimson. Cream.

  • I only like 2 songs pretty much.

Stayin alive, at a faster tempo in a higher key

    Tragedy

It is fun to try and sing Bee Gees though

They're awesome. I go back and forth on liking them though because there is such a thing as too much Bee Gees.

They fall into that AC/DC category of 'omg this is the best sh!t i've ever heard' when you're drunk and then you proceed to make an absolute @ss out of yourself when you try to dance to it.
