  • Your View Of Smash Mouth?

(Offline for so long because of shitty windows 8)

Smash Mouth...Without a doubt, one of the more strange bands i've heard of.

I find it hard to define Smash Mouth...To me, they sound like Rap Rock, Ska Punk, Alternative Rock, And Pop Rock mixed into one.

I first heard smash mouth when i went into the local Target and saw a album on the shelf called Smash Mouth - Astro Lounge...Interested i bought it and i was amazing when i heard

    All Star.

Now? I own 2 of their albums:Astro Lounge, And Their 2001 self titled.

Some of their songs i like are:All Star, Walkin' On The Sun, And their cover of War's Why Can't We Be Friends?

  • Your View Of Bob Seger?

Bob Seger.....One of those singers that had the raspy voice and the rockin' 1970's classic rock style.

(I know, he was in several band)

I own about 6 of his albums (3 on cassette, 3 On CD).

To me, His solo work was his greatest works of all time..It had a energy unlike his band self.

Some of his songs i like are:Turn The Page, Her Strut, and Like A Rock.

  • Your View Of Third Eye Blind?

TEB...One of my favorite Alternative Rock bands of all time. (next to Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, And Queens Of The Stone Age)

I first got into Third Eye Blind when i heard Graduate on miami's largest hard rock station in 1997.

Nowadays? I own their self titled and Out Of The Vein. It's kind of disapointing to known this talented band disapeared for so long and then came back a completely different band..

Some of their songs i like are:Graduate, Jumper, And Semi-Charmed Life.

I own most of their cd's up to The High End Low.

(and recently, i got Marilyn Manson's EP:Smells Like Children)

I think Marilyn Manson is still good today despite them changing their style of play.

At various times i listen to their songs:This Is The New ****, I Don't Like The Drugs (But The Drugs Like Me), Lunchbox, My Monkey, Coma White, And Dopehat.

Ah, the pixies a noise rock band with a currious style of playing:from their first cd to 2004's greatest hits they are one of those bands that i've admired for many years.

(I've been offline because of PT, And i have been out of state in South Carolina)

Ah, Powerman 5000. One of those bands i didn't think much of..But i really started to think otherwise when i got Tonight The Stars Revolt!.

(in the days i didn't think Industrial Metal was worth listening to.)

It all began in 2000 when i went into the local thriftstore and i was looking on the shelves when 2 albums got my attention:Mega!! Kung Fu Radio, And Tonight The Stars Revolt! I bought both of them and that is what got me into them.

Now i own all of their cd's up to Copies Clones And Replicants.

Some of their memorable songs i like are:Even Superman Shot Himself, Boredwitcha, Public Meance--Freak--Human Fly, Tokyo Vigilante #1, When Worlds Collide, Nobody's Real, Theme To A Fake Revolution, Bombshell, And V Is For Vampire.

  • Your View Of Megadeth?

(The ultimate Metal band of all time) (Well, To me megadeth is the ultimate metal band)

I've known about megadeth for about 15 years now, Beginning in 1995 i got Rust In Peace on LP,

Now i own all of their albums including their newest:Super Collider.

I now megadeth has had their controversy ever since they started and i do remember well the fighting within the crowd when they played "Anarchy In The U.K." in Ireland. (as well as their feuds with Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, And Metallica.)

For a time, I had a band that covered Holy Wars...The punishment due. (i may revive my band one day)

Even though Dave is a great singer, I feel when he became a christian he ruined his band's image....

(i consider Megadeth to be greater than metallica.)

I own 9 Megadeth Cd's:Rust In Peace, So Good...So Far....So What!, Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?, Killing Is My Buisness...And Buisness Is Good!, The System Has Failed, Risk, Endgame, Thirteen, And Super Collider.

(Despite the lacklaster reviews of Super Collider by "Fans" i think it's their best since The System Has Failed)

Some of megadeth's songs i like are:Holy Wars, 99 Ways To Die, Hanger 18, Peace Sells, Anarchy In The U.K., Kick The Chair, Super Collider, And A Cover Of Thin Lizzy's Cold Sweat.

Grateful Dead...A rock band of the times who made a big wave in Space Rock/Acid Rock.

(I consider GD to be Acid Rock mostly).

I've known of this band for about 7 years now when i first got The Grateful Dead on Vinyl LP in 1995.

Now, i have 6 Grateful Dead Albums:Anthem Of The Sun, American Beauty, Grateful Dead, Go To Heaven, And Without A Net.

I saw them live in 2007 and they sure made a good show.

At various times i listen to their songs:Uncle John's Band, Good Morning Little School Girl, China Cat Sunflower, And Casey Jones.

  • Your View Of The Band W.A.S.P.?

(I decided to do this before the other ones i nominated)

W.A.S.P. The band of the 80's and 90's who had songs that hit real hard against the P.M.R.C. and thensome!

I remember songs that made them notorious and controversial:I Wanna Be Somebody,

Animal (I **** Like A Beast), Harder Faster, And L.O.V.E. Machine are what made many call them alot of names:

We Are Sexual Perverts, We Are Sexual Prophets (And thensome).

To me:W.A.S.P. is one of those bands who despite the negative mood towards them made music worth listening to.

Right now i have 4 WASP albums:1984 Self Titled, The Headless Children, Kill **** Die, And Dying For The World. I recently got a Cassette Tape Single Of Animal (I **** Like A Beast) from ebay.

    Some of Wasp's songs i like are:Animal (I **** Like A Beast, I Wanna Be Somebody, Hellion, B.A.D., And L.O.V.E. Machine.

  • Your View Of Bee Gees?

Disco/Early Psychedelic Rock. The 1950's, 1960's, and 1970's had some music to boast about.

The Bee Gee's are one of those groups that got me interested in Psychedelic Rock.

I do remember last week going into the store and seeing a yellow color Vinyl LP entitled:Stayin' Alive.

That song to me was the first "True" Disco song to have lyrics. Nowadays, i still have that LP along with 4 Bee Gee CD's:Saturday Night Fever (The OST), To Who It May Concern, Children Of The World, And This Is Where I Came In.

Some of the bee gees song's in like are:Stayin' Alive, You Should Be Dancing, And Saw A New Morning.

    (Another of the yardbirds members)

Of all the music i own i have 37% of it being classic rock. I do remember getting my first Jeff Beck Group cassette back in 1999. (1972 Self Titled)

Today i own 4 of this amazing guitarist's cd's:Wired, Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop, Who Else!, And his newest CD:Emotion And Commotion.

I think jeff is one of those guitarists like Steve Vai, Tom Morello, and John 5 who perfected "Instrumental Rock" and Overall jeff is on my top 10 guitarists at number 2.

    (Below Steve)

At various times i play his songs on my mp3:Blue Wind, Sophie, El Becko, People Get Ready, And Savoy.

I'm suprised that they only had 1 album but i own it and i call it a ska-core classic (Next to TMMB's Pay Attention)

That album is Energy. (I think that leftover crack is like Op Ivy...I may ask about them but that will come later)
