Your View Of Jeff Beck?

(Another of the yardbirds members)

Of all the music i own i have 37% of it being classic rock. I do remember getting my first Jeff Beck Group cassette back in 1999. (1972 Self Titled)

Today i own 4 of this amazing guitarist's cd's:Wired, Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop, Who Else!, And his newest CD:Emotion And Commotion.

I think jeff is one of those guitarists like Steve Vai, Tom Morello, and John 5 who perfected "Instrumental Rock" and Overall jeff is on my top 10 guitarists at number 2.

(Below Steve)

At various times i play his songs on my mp3:Blue Wind, Sophie, El Becko, People Get Ready, And Savoy.

Your view?

BQ:What is your thought on this show? I recently was told by some contacts of a "Cartoon" that has caused many to shiver in shock, disgust, and Outrage. Curious i looked and i know

(I can handle violent things...) but this show made me throw up at lease 3 times in one episode.

It...Is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Tree_Friends.

Funny you mention Jeff Beck. I recently won tickets to his newest concert tour. Will be seeing him in two weeks. Been a fan since his Yardbird days. He is a big time Strat-Cat. A true guitar master. He was always an innovator with sound. Thank you for asking about Jeff Beck. My guitar hero. Really looking forward to this concert. Will be my 6th time seeing him.

Stevie Wonder wrote "Superstition" for Jeff Beck as a thank you for playing on his Talking Book album. But his manager said you must record that song. Beck Bogert & Appice did record the tune.

I have everything by the man.

I first seen Jeff Beck as a member of the Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page was the bass player. I have all of his works on vinyl and later works on CD. I favorite era of Jeff's music was when he formed the Jeff Beck Group with Rod Stewart as the lead singer. And that was when Rod was at his best. I was 15 when the Yardbirds first came out and I believe I was around 16 and a half or seventeen when I first seen them live. But I did and still do think The Jeff Beck Group was the best era for me. But he was still is one of the best guitarist I am had the pleasure to see live.

Jeff is in the Top 5 of the best guitarists to ever live. I've seen him live twice and the man can literally make the guitar talk. Pick up the DVD "Live At Ronnie Scott's", some of the best stuff ever recorded!

I like Jeff Beck. The first time I ever heard any his music was at a music store, the guy behind the counter put on Blow By Blow and I thought it was pretty cool. That's still one of my favorite albums of his; I really like Wired too.

BQ: Happy Tree Friends is okay; it can be pretty funny sometimes.
