Issues with older dog and doggy door?
My 11 year old dog has been using a doggy door all his life. Just this week he will not use it. It is like he is scared of it. If I hold the flap open he will go through. If not he will sit on the porch and just bark. Any ideas how to find out why he wont use it?
Its not the door. I have a younger smaller dog and she uses it just fine.

Perhaps he has arthritis and it hurts him to go through the doggy door? Maybe he got caught on the door and hurt himself?

He must have banged his head on it . watch him but don't open th door. He'll grow out of it
