Do staffing companies have to pay you federal holidays?

If I were to work for one of those 'staffing' companies (like IT staffing), where they admit that they give you "no benefits", but I am being paid "$__/hour, W2", my question is ...

Even if they provide "no paid vacation", don't they have to pay me for the, like, 5 federal holidays? Isn't that law for W2 employees?

So wouldn't I still potentially get paid for christmas, thanksgiving, etc?

No. They only have to pay you for actual hours worked.
