How do we send messages to other users using this new format?

So confused! Dx

Is it even possible to send a message to another user any more?

I've asked the same question and leaving the U.S. is your only option. Canada seems to be the popular choice. It still has the old format. They are worth 10s of billions of dollars and can't do as well as some sites with 2 "employees". http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=201309...

I don't know, I can't figure this format out at all

why does Yahoo answers feel the need to update every 6 months, when it was fine to begin with

You can't. If you switch to either the Canada site or the UK/Ireland site, it will be as normal, for now anyway. I'm in the US and the format changed the day before yesterday. I hate it. Someone suggested to me to change to the UK or Can. site, so I did. Business as usual, for now.

It doesn't seem like there is a way to do so from what I can tell.

I have to use firefox just so I can message anyone back who writes me here.

I think this is a bug in the new site.

I suggest using the UK or Canada site.

    Add uk.

Or ca. to the URL for the pages.
