2 legends and a leader, who's the most popular?

Hey guys! My coworkers and I are having a heated discussion right now about who's the most popular man on earth. Now we're not talking Jesus, Muhammed or Buddha here, just men.

My question is; if The Pope, Michael Jackson, and Muhammed Ali died on the same day, who's funeral would have more people or more coverage?

    I'd say Muhammad Ali who is more the man of the people, especially the masses around the world, regardless of religion, race, nationality, political ideology, and yes, even age and gender.

    Michael Jackson would be next and the Pope last.
