Is the Batman of TDK trilogy the same as the older Batman in the Man of Steel sequel?
Or is it a completely different Batman with a different story arc?

The Batman in the Man of Steel sequel will be a different version to the TDK films. The Dark knight trilogy will not be connected with man of steel.
Although Christian Bale was offered the chance to return as batman, he turned it down. If he had returned then it would have been a continuation of the dark knight films but ben affleck has been cast so it will be like a reboot of batman as well.

I don't understand your question.
So far, on films, there has only been ONE Batman - one character played by different actors.
