I like this girl but she has a baby?
So I'm 17 and this girl is 17 as well. This girl likes me alot I like her to but she has a baby. I've been wanting to have a kid of my own for a little while now. I tell frends about this girl but they tell me not to get invold with her. I don't mind taking care of the baby sometimes I have a job and a car and my license. Should I try and see if I could work out or should I not t try
I honestly dont have much of a life ahead of me im joining army in april and ill be gone for a lone time. Unless I'm married and live in army housing

Well, I'd say you should maybe date her, but you don't want the responsibility of a baby so soon. You have college to go to still and you can't handle that right now. Just date the girl, tell her you will help out with the baby, but can't take full responsibility for the baby until after college.
It's so sweet that you want a kid of your own though! :)

I agree with "?" and the other person who said "Why is a baby a bad thing?" A baby isn't a bad thing. It's innocent and precious and our future. That said, a baby is a big responsibility. If you commit to being in this child's life as a form of care-taker or father-figure, you can't back out. A baby isn't something you can try on for size and return if you don't like it. So think long and hard before you agree to anything.

My fiance has a kid and its really stressful honestly. Im 19, hes 20, and his son is almost 5. Its really difficult but if you like this girl then eff what your friends say. That may be the best relationship of your whole life. Besides what do you have to lose?

Why not give it a try if you like them? Why is a baby a "bad" thing, other than the obvious time they require. Don't move in or anything, just take it slow and see how it goes. Or doesn't go.

Why would u date this sl*t? Good guys don't enjoy a sl*t for long. And a baby is not a toy. If she made the mistake of teen sex once then u need to stay away from her rather than come to her rescue... Let her sweat it out and learn from her mistakes.

This girl has made a past mistake, but she still deserves another chance. If you feel safe in this relationship and you truly like her, then no one should stop you from it. Friends and family will always have their opinion and say what you should avoid, but if you feel something is worth it, you should only listen to yourself. :)
