What do dogs dream about?

I'm sitting next to my dog who is sleeping, and he just started breathing really heavily and sometimes he twitches in his sleep. What is he dreaming of?

    Because your dog is twitching and stuff, he is probably dreaming about something they really like to. Like playing fetch or playing with a tennis ball.

    the dog is dreaming about walking running or crying and acting it out in there dreams

    playing ball, chasing a rabbit, we don't really know but assume dogs dream of what they would love to do.

    Nobofy truly knows... whenever any of my dogs do that I say mummied here in a soft voice and stroke them and say shshshsh xx
