How important is dedicated video ram?
I game on my laptop, and technically I shouldn't be able to run any games because I only have like 32 gb of video ram but the rest of my specs are always so far above what is recommended for games that I've never really had any problems. So far I've played through portal, the walking dead, saints row 3, saints row 4, and bioshock (on the highest graphical settings) with only 32 gb of dedicated video ram. So how important is video ram if the rest of your specs are really good?

Have never seen a laptop discrete graphics card chip set with 32 GB of dedicated graphics memory, maybe it has 32 MB. 1 to 3 GB dedicated memory is normal for a laptop discrete graphics card. Having a discrete graphics card with dedicated graphic memory is very important when gaming on any desk top or laptop no matter the other spec's.
