What do you think of the name Beatrix for a girl?

It has meaning to me because my grandmother would read me Beatrix Potter stories as a child, so in that way, it would remind me of her.

Pairing would be Beatrix Lily (Lily is after s/o's mother).

    Beatrix lily is absolutely beautiful! It is a lovely name and is so special that the name is derived from one of your childhood memories! Trixie is such a cute nickname as well :)

    It's beautiful! I totally love it :)

    I prefer Beatrix Lillian bc imo Lily isn't a full name and the MN should always be a full name imo :)

    I'm sorry, it's too old fashioned and reminds me of an ugly woman in an opera. It would get shortened to Bea and that reminds me of Aint Bea on the Andy Griffith show - a short stumpy old lady.

    I live Beatrice better, but it is a lovely name. Not sure about how it flows with Lily though...
