Has anyone else ever had this? Sleep paralysis ?

When I sleep a certain way like on my back or stomach I literally can't move or anything or do anything and I'm trying to get out of it and I get out of it sometimes it happens a few times or once like today it happened I think once or twice but I got it a lot in the past ever since I was like 13 I think but I never told anyone and now I'm getting sick of it.has anyone else ever had this before? If so did it go away? How long did it take or what is the treatment. I want real answers. I haven't told my parents or doctor because I don't want the doctor to find something wrong with me or something.

Most people have had the odd attack of sleep paralysis that is sometimes triggered off by sleeping on your back.

Why would you not tell your doctor? Either there is something wrong with you or there isn't. Your doctor will better able to help you than your fears. I vaguely remember hearing that it isn't a big deal, just relax and let it pass, but really, really tell your doctor. They didn't go to university for nothing.

It's just your body paralysing itself so it's still for you to sleep. However if it is something that needs diagnosing it could be narcolepsy, migraines, anxiety disorders, or obstructive sleep apnea so I'd call your doctor to get it sorted, It's nothing life threatening
