Boyfriend is choosing friends over me again..?
I'll try to be quick!
Together for over 2years, and planning to get engaged next year :)
We been through a lot..however he always chooses his friends over me.
while he was away for work in USA for 6months he chose his friends barerly talking to me etc. He agrees that he was stupid and really regrets it.
he moved away for uni today..he promised we will talk etc etc. But as soon as he got to welcome day he didnt even reply to my important texts but texted his friends as they said.
also he just said he's out tonight and that's all. Im worried we're going back to beginning. .
tips?
Amd we're the couple that likes talking to.each other so im.not being clingy. Thank you x
we're 20 & 21.

From what you have written it seems your b/f is not as committed to this relationship, as you
If he chooses his friends over you, then that should tell you something, surely
Over the next few weeks and months of him being at Uni, will show whether you two
are drifting apart or not

I would try to be pretty laid back about the texts etc - if he texts his friends you text yours
Let him have his freedom to do stuff that's only natural - but you have yours as well
Show that you aren't dependent on him and trust him - he may show himself not to be the ideal partner for the future

No tips really, this is how he is and it's really unlikey he will change. It's decision time, find a guy who will put you first, or stay with a guy who puts his friends first. Don't make the mistake of thinking the engagement will change him.

Give him an ultimatum. If you continually feel ignored, then tell him that you don't think they should get married.
