Help me figure out which mythological creature this is?
I read somewhere that there was a mythological creature that somehow messed with human impulse control? Like, I don't remember much--it was a LONG time ago. But even after hours of research, I can't find anything even close. All I remember is that it's some kind of weird monster that just takes a person's impulse control away, makes them crazy. Is there anything like that, or am I mistaken? Sorry I don't have more info to work with. Anything at all that might match the description would be helpful.

Pelesitm or Kanaima. Also the Orco Burlevole is known for altering a person's perception.
