What is wrong with my Toshiba refrigerator?
I have a 3-year-old french-styled Toshiba refrigerator that leaks water on the front left corner, but only occasionally. I have checked all seals, wiped them down, but still can't find the source of the problem. Any suggestions?

Go to the freezer side which is on the left where the leak is and look for a defrost drain hole. You may have to remove a drawer or two from the bottom to find it. After you find the drain hole, mix one teaspoon of baking soda with one cup of hot water (not boiling) and pour the solution in a meat baster. Push the baster in the hole and squeeze with force to clear the drain line. Will take you about 5 minutes to fix the problem. The manual states to to do this once a year to prevent it happening again. I have done this twice and it worked both times. I read this from the manual on what to do if you have water in the floor in front of your refrigerator.

With a Toshiba french door you are going to want to call a professional to repair. More than likely you have a clogged defrost drain (if there is a lot of water covering a good portion of the floor of the refrigerator this is a pretty good sign), and a repair will involve removing the evaporator cover and exposing your cooling coils, and they are very fragile, and if punctured you are looking at a $300 to $600 repair. With a refrigerator that cost a grand or so you don't want to take a chance. Also if you have an indoor ice maker in the fresh food section, you will want to check the seals to see if you have moisture escaping from the gasket or through the air vents.
