If Obamacare is so great, why are Congressmen who passed the bill want no part of it?

They have exempted themselves and their staff.

Congress is NOT exempt, just like 99.5% of the people in the US is not exempt to it. "Obamacare" is only a name for the Affordable Care Act, and members of Congress, along with their staff, are included in it.

No one under Obamacare (including Congress) are required to drop their existing healthcare coverage and get insurance from one of the state exchanges. If you currently have coverage from your employer (which Congress has the same healthcare coverage as all other federal employees), you can keep that coverage if you want.

So please explain now how Congress is exempt from "Obamacare".
