Regarding the Scottish Referendum 2014, when will the poplar vote take place?

As you know, the Scottish Referendum will take place in September of 2014, but when will the popular vote (the vote of the people) take place?

    nobody knows exactly, polls are up and down and shouldn't be believed one way or the other.

    Some interesting data was released from Census data in 2011, 62% of people living in Scotland only feel Scottish with no affiliation to British what so ever, with only 8.4% describing themselves as British only. Could that be an indication to the way people will vote?

    The Scottish Government intends to hold a referendum of the Scottish electorate, on the issue of independence from the United Kingdom, on Thursday 18 September 2014[1] following an agreement between the Scottish Government and HM Government.[2] The Referendum Bill, setting out the arrangements for this referendum, was put forward on 21 March 2013.[3] The question asked in the referendum will be "Should Scotland be an independent country?"[
