Heating may be the problem, or your inbuilt cooler fan might not be working properly, I guess.

If your laptop works properly with the exception that it vibrates, I would think that it is very dirty and you should get a can of compressed air and (after shutting the computer down) blow the vents out. The only real moving parts in a laptop are the fan and the hard drive. Since the hard drive is a sealed unit it would stand to reason that the fan is the cause of your vibration because to have vibration you must have movement.
You may eventually need to replace the fan.

A fan bearing is gone. Keep an eye on your hard drive temp.
