If I can handle it, shall I try and burn over 1,000 calories everyday in the gym?
I burned 800 calories yesterday, and I felt like I could do more but I had to leave to pick my brother up from School. I really want to lose 2lbs+ per week! I really think that I can handle 1,000 plus calories 7 days per week!

Huh? There is nothing in the gym that is capable of measuring calories burned. That requires a roomful of expensive analytical equipment attached to you with tubes, hoses, and electrodes.
Some exercise machines give you a "calories burned" on their display, but that's just a calculated number from the speed and settings of the machine. Its not a measurement, and its not accurate. Just a marketing gimmick thrown in by the machine manufacturers because they know that a lot of people buy and use treadmills, etc., for weight loss purposes.
If you want to use the "calorie" number as a way to track your progress, that's fine, but don't expect it to translate neatly into pounds lost..... you're not tracking your fuel input all that accurately either, nor do you know your BMR with any degree of precision.
You would be better served logging and setting goals with numbers the machines can measure a little more accurately, like speed, time, and distance. Heartrate is useful as well if you have a heartrate monitor. Better still, go out and run or ride your bike in the real world, where you have scenery, air, and a mile is a mile, not some mythical resistance setting.
