Americas present dilemna -greed vs need ?

You are so off base with your understanding of this law ..

This law is not about healthcare but over 10,000 pages of conflicting laws & regulations that violate our US Constitution.

This law makes healthcare more expensive not less & also gives free healthcare to people that are not even citizens of this country.

This also allows the IRS (our tax people) to go into anyone's bank account and take the money out against your will.

We need some additional health care but this is not it. I also understand that your British healthcare system is not so great.

We in the USA are different than other countries as we expect our govt to represent the "will of the people" & this bill is not. As you have also noticed we also wrote into our Constitution the "right" to keep and bear arms. We in America are different and proud of it. If you are happy with your govt in the UK are happy with your govt & healthcare then more power to you. We in the USA actually fought a war to get free from your govt.

Why don't you try reading a summary of this bill?????? instead of pretending to know what it says.

The callous opponents as you call them are more economically astute than your third world comedy President and they are looking at the long term. America has an unimaginable national debt. It seems silly to invent ways of growing that debt faster.

You are not alone the whole of western civilisation has become a huge public service funded by borrowing. If America defaults we all go down together. I have a life preserver sorted out have you?

What will happen to your starving masses then poor things? They will turn to Marxism the very ideology that has brought this sad state of affairs about.

The opponents of Obama care only seem callus because they want America to be wealthy and successful, As do I because the UK and Europe and the world depend on it in that order..

"Minimal access" already exists. Obmacare does not address that. it increases costs to more people than it helps. It in theory adds millions into the system without increasing the number of healthcare providers and infrastructure. This means that rationing will exist in fact, whatever the platitudes of the administration.

The system is also designed to ultimately collapse the private insurance industry, forcing everyone onto the "public option". This is coercion and unconstitutional. Whatever problems our system has, these new laws will not improve the situation. Instead, it is yet another money drain, while adversely impacting most people here. The longer it is in place, the more obvious it will become that the public was sold a rotten bag of goods, not an invitation for everyone to sit at the banquet.

As we all know, greed is one of the primary reasons people support Obama. Obama plays to the mindless greed of liberals and promises them handout after handout after handout paid for by somebody else. And that's good enough for liberals. They're too focused "GIVE ME! GIVE ME! GIVE ME!" to care what happens to the American middle class that is getting screwed by Obama's health care scam.

Also, the poor don't fight wars. The US military is almost exclusively from middle class families.
