Cardiovascular exercises i.e running is important to losing weight, but if you are really looking to lose weight you need to combine it with clean eating - cut down on sugary fatty snacks and if you're up for it start calorie restricting. You can use sites such as http://www.healthyweightforum.org/eng/calculators/... to see how many calories you should be eating. Back to the exercise side of it, light weight training - yes it may technically make your mass slightly heavier, but your metabolic rate will be higher and you will look more toned! it's better to weight 130 pounds and looks like you weight 120 than weight 120 and look like you weight 130, if you get my drift :')

I'd hire a professional trainer and balanced diet? Asian food. They eat rice,fish,fruits,veggies etc.. And drink a lot of water and you should try to drink green tea before you workout.it can boost you matobolism and lose even more when while you workout.
