Why did Satan call Jesus the"Son of God" instead of God at Luke chapter 4 verses 3 and 9?

Matt. 26:39, RS: “Going a little farther he [Jesus Christ] fell on his face and prayed, ‘My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.’” (If the Father and the Son were not distinct individuals, such a prayer would have been meaningless. Jesus would have been praying to himself, and his will would of necessity have been the Father’s will.)

Col. 1:15, 16, RS: “He [Jesus Christ] is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation; for in him all things were created, in heaven and on earth.” - Jesus was created.

Mark 13:32, RS: “Of that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but ONLY the Father.” (Of course, that would not be the case if Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were coequal, comprising one Godhead. And if, as some suggest, the Son was limited by his human nature from knowing, the question remains, Why did the Holy Spirit not know?

John 14:28, RS: “[Jesus said:] If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I.”

1 Cor. 11:3, RS: “I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.” (Clearly, then, Christ is not God, and God is of superior rank to Christ.

Mark 10: 17-18 “And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.” (If Jesus were God he would not have counseled the man who called him Good.)

Psalms 83:18 Jehovah is the most high God over all the earth (KJV)

(John 1:18) . . .No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is in the bosom [position] with the Father is the one that has explained him. . .

The devils knew, so we know satan knew. Being a 'liar' from the beginning,

I think it would be somewhat of a put down. And 'the letter of the law',

since Jesus WAS called that, then that is ALL satan would say.

And how would it be known that satan even did know that Jesus was God?

Biblically speaking? Or, satan may have known and REJECTED this.

How many people seem to know, criticize the bible and rejected it

all at the same time.

Sin doesn't make sense, is not logical, but rather circular logic

eg. Jesus is not God, because I have not accepted Him...

is one example.

Satan would be the supreme self-centered entity from which

all self-centeredness would originate.

Because Jesus is Not God. Even the God of Evil things Said. Lol. There's no denying it. People would say oh, I'm a Son, a Father, and a Brother, so why can't it be said that way for God the Son and the holy spirit?. Well, it CAN be said that way, BUT, we must remember that we Can't Just be All Without A Cause, Example: You are only a Son OF Someone, (Otherwise you arn't born in the to begin with). You can be a Father TO Someone, And You can be a Brother TO many. So there you have it. Trinity is completely Fake.

Because all those who deny the Father and the Son are Antichrist:

1Jo 2:18 ¶ Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

20 ¶ But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

And, of course, like their Father Satan they will take their eternal souls and burn in hell and the Lake of Fire forever.

Mt 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Good question!

It is possible that satan really did not quite know about the Trinity as such. Yet, he still recognized the difference between the Father & the Son.

That would be because Jesus is the Son Of GOD!
