math slope graphing help !?
If u have the slope of -4/3 I know this means down 4 but Im confused it it means down 4 left 3 or down 4 right 3. So basically, Im asking if the negative sign applies to the denominator. Thank you. :)

You can either go down four and to the right three, or up four and to the left three.
Think of it as positive and negative. If you went down and to the left that would be two negatives which in turn makes the slope positive; however, we know this is incorrect because the slope is NEGATIVE 4/3.
Hope this helps!

First choose is the negative applies to top or bottom. It's your choice. This could be down 4 left 3 (-4/3) or up 4 right 3 (4/-3)
The negative only effects one number. Not them both.
