whats happening with our points.?

Hi Jennifer, I wouldn't notice mine going up or down, but I've just seen that you now have 300, so perhaps the lower reading was a glitch? You could check in the Yahoo Products / Yahoo Answers category and see if anyone else has been asking about it.

To my knowledge, you don't lose the two points if a question you answered is deleted. If that was the case I would have half the points I have now! (So many Qs that I've answered have gone on to be deleted.)

Edit: if I hover my mouse over your avatar here on this page, it says 225 points this week, but when I click on your profile page it says 300. Mine is the opposite - if I hover over my own avatar it says 400 points but on my page it says 371. Very strange.

Further edit - in fact everyone who has answered here has a huge difference between the "hover" amount and the profile page amount.

Oh I long ago figured out Yahoo Travel Australia seems to be governed by morons.

Don't expect ANYTHING regular or normal on this page. If this page is a sample of Yahoo business, it's a wonder they haven't gone belly up a long time ago.

You might have answered some sensible questions recently that got deleted, and when that happens your 2 points get deleted too.

How anyone can get a question deleted asking about how to get rid of weeds in the lawn beats me!

I don't know Jen. Check out the points bit on the home page. You can lose points for different things. I never count mine either.

Adit. One thing I have noticed with this daffy site lately.....questions that have been given BA by asker hang round in the open section for a while.

I don't count my points,it has never occurred to me to do so unless someone asks a Q relating to them.Have you got any Qs or As deleted over the past week? If so the points may have been taken for that.

Yes I had a Q deleted last night.

We have just had 2 weeks school holidays in QLD. Maybe the reporter went away ?
