wondering what bug bit me?
I was staying in central florida and a somewhat large, narrow dark beetle type insect crawled on me while I was sleeping and bit me. It hurt quite a bit. I saw it in my bed shortly after the bite so that is how I know what it looked like. It was fast moving however so I could not get a real good look. It scared me quite a bit. I left the door open earlier in the day so it may have come into the condo that way. The bite area is still red 24 hours later but it is not swollen or itchy. I am not really concerned but curious. I cannot find anything online but if someone has seen this before it would help. Thanks

It sounds like you may have been bitten by a werebeatle! This could become a problem during the next full moon. The only chance you have is finding the werebeatle that bit you and biting him back.

I'm not sure what it is. But if it was a bed bug like some of these other people have suggested then you wouldn't have seen it... Bedbugs are super tiny...
Take some Benadryl and the redness should go away :)
