We was maybe thinking, should we be plugging the monitor into the Graphics Cards dvi outlet rather then the mother board vga??? does having a graphics card over ride the mother broad dvi monitor outlet??

"does having a graphics card over ride the mother broad dvi monitor outlet?? " - Yes, it does.

Either remove the graphics card and install your softwares or plug the monitor cable in to your graphics card output.

You don't know the basics of even how to hook up a computer, but you built one? What do you do for a living? Whatever it is, I'll bet that ANYONE could learn to do it fine in about an hour, right? There is too much to learn about computers for anyone to learn it all in a lifetime, yet you think you can do this. Good luck.

As far as you fixing it yourself, there is so much wrong with this question that I can't even begin to help more than tell you to take this to a professional. Additionally, the fact that you are posting the same question multiple times tells us even more about your thought processes.

Shu it down, pull out the graphics card, plug into the onboard. Install the O.S. and all the proper drivers. When it's up and running, THEN install the new card.
