Does it really hurt the hand that much to punch someone in the face?

    depends, when punching always remember hard on soft meaning your knuckles are hard only hit at soft spots to the face (eyes, nose, ears) DO NOT HIT TO THE MOUTH especially without glooves thats hard on hard (knuckles on teeth) you could actually damage yourself more than you damage them

    it shouldn't do really. try and connect with your second and third knuckle when punching someone. also do push ups on your knuckles to strengthen your hands and to prevent injury

    Probably. I can imagine it's more painful for the receiver, though.
