how do I open attachments?

I can't open attachments in stupid new email. The standard paper clip attachment symbol says cilck to mark as unread but doesn't work anyway. Don't you just love it when they 'improve' something that was fine and has not been developed properly. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I guess they have to justify their jobs somehow. It would help if they listened to the masses of complaints the new system gets every time.
