Why do people who ask questions mostly do not seek for valuable information to get smarter?

instead of that, they select answers that only confirm their own stupidity and by that stay inside the same bigotry they live in. If you seek for a truth, stop living in your world of fantasy and lies, open your mind.

If you are sure that your beliefs and faith is true and real, stay within it and do not ask questions. If you do, you walk beside the path and your faith is standing on trembling feet.

Questions are made to find answers, not to confirm what religious or atheist bigotry has washed in your brains and all of those who felt under their heel know anyway. The seek for truth and evidence starts by admitting that you are an ignorant and you are wrong in many fields. Any kind of bigotry and sticking to false values, and asking questions to confirm those values is a waste of time.

In this world, you need no one to confirm to you that you are a fool, all of us start at that state of existence, 90% stay in it.

Update:

@ Ted, tolerance is something that does not exist, you create this, just like anything. All around us is normal, all belongs to the world we live in, up to you to accept it or not. If you are angry about the neighbors loud stereo, the kids blowing fire crackers, you can accept it or not. But then, who is intolerant, you, or them? You create things to your image, they create it to their image. That image will differ, and that is normal. So where does tolerance starts, is it you refusing to eat pork and drink alcohol because the Muslim beside you forbids it and blames you for that, is you refusing you cult to not offense him, or is it him that does not wants to accept that other people could have different opinion because their cult has washed that in their brain? So, where does tolerance starts and where does it ends, and first of all, who the both should be tolerant. It is not, because a majority of people think it should be their way, that this way is right. What counts for one counts

Update 2:

@ Rashaan Kimberly. Only people who do not want to enter in a discussion about any subject, answer to questions by asking other questions. If it seems as a horrible rant to you, why do you give importance to it, pass your way.

Update 3:

to Ted, i added that what counts for the one, counts for all, what counts for all, counts for the one.

Now, I have hard to give a best to all of yo who gave an answer, because all of you see it the same way and, except one answerer, you just confirm what I relate to. Maybe it will change some day, maybe never. We are in a world divided by fools and magicians, and here, fools have empty heads, and magicians use all their magic to keep them empty. I lived a huge increase of education skills during the 60 ies and once the majority of people became more educated, our "magicians" came out with multicultural society scrap, that enriches our society and dumps down the nation again. That is a proof of the game that is played. They want the keep humanity at same level of intelligence or stupidity, divide and conquer, old game, no rules, works like a dream. Yahoo answers is a huge place to see how far we have come down with our general education, and, if you change the country in thi

I find that annoying as well. I like to choose the RIGHT answer on my questions. Even if someone proves me wrong, I admit and choose their answer. Some people like to ask questions and choose the one answer that agrees with them and ignore all of the ones from the opposite side and label even the good, thought out ones as BS. This makes their question totally pointless. These people don't come here to learn (or troll) and just come to find others who agree with them to confirm their crap.

    Because it's very much impossible.

People are very sensitive about their beliefs, which means if something attacks them, you will easily start considering that something as an enemy.

And asking open questions means confirming your own ignorance so that very much leaves you very much vulnerable attacks from the others implying that they will win.

Basically, if people weren't so sensitive about their beliefs, the atmosphere wouldn't be so intense. But that is also impossible since religions are very defensive about their beliefs. Which then also makes atheists play by those rules, for the same reason I've said above.

Young people and stupid people think life is a game, when in fact life is meant to learn and discover. Learn what? All one can absorb. Discover what? Discover our nature, our souls. For what purpose?

To climb up the karmic ladder, one step at a time.

People have always been like that. It's easier to confirm your own beliefs then to confront the unknown with open arms.

Why do you post here like you have a question, but instead type up a horrible rant?
