The equation y = 20sin(0.5θ - 2) + 40 models the monthly temp for a certain city.?

Use the equation to predict the temperature in the city during December. Thanks

    The period is 4π and mid December is at 11½/12 way through the period (1 year) Hence:

    θ at mid December = 4π × 23/24 = 12.043

    Substituting this in the equation gives temperature y = 24.6
