Why does Boehner want to cut Social Security and Medicare before ending the shutdown?

Is this why he's not publicizing the 'sticking points' of the right's demands?

Update:

For those of you who have been living in a cave for the last decade, when Republicans say they want 'entitlement reform' they really mean they want to get rid of Social Security and Medicare. These slimy politicians get a pension for life and full medical for life. Not to mention that they're getting their pockets lined by the likes of the Koch brothers in an attempt to buy corporate friendly legislation and to increase corporate welfare. Wake people, the far right does not care about the average American.

Doesn't seem to be a very good argument for you. Remember..

Obama already blocked death benefits for families of fallen American soldiers.

Obama already blocked treatment for kids with cancer.

Obama already blocked the CDC from investigating outbreaks.

And in the last debt ceiling negotiations Obama said HE would stop social security payments.

But on the plus side, he doesn't actually have the ability to do that since social security has it's own source of funding and isn't effected by a government shutdown or a frozen debt ceiling.

Social Security and Medicare are autonomous funds with their own streams of revenue.

Boehner can not technically hurt them.

But Obama could. And Obama did hurt them when he lowered the rate paid to SS and Medicare and it took big chunk of their revenue.

Is this another example of the "BIG lie" technique?
