Why has a CR not been voted on?

Republicans have conceded on Obamacare. That was the holdup, I thought. So why hasn't there been a vote on the clean CR?

Update:

Mr. Boehner won't bring it the floor, I understand that. But WHY? What is the reason, since Obamacare has become a non-issue?

Update 2:

Mr. Boehner won't bring it the floor, I understand that. But WHY? What is the reason, since Obamacare has become a non-issue?

Update 3:

@ Sarah Palin: The House passed a CR with a poison pill. Senate accepted spending levels, but stripped out the poison pill. House put slightly less poison pill and kept the compromise spending. Senate stripped poison again and sent it back, still maintaining the compromise. A couple more similar volleys and the government shut down.

NOW, the subject of Obamacare is no longer an issue--it has been abandoned, according to the GOP itself. The House has to vote on a clean CR. They haven't. Why?

IT IS ALL BOUT POLITICS !!!

In an interview today the House leader was asked if he has now taken Obama care off the table (which of course he has) BUT he refused to answer the question because intelligent citizens will realize the entire fiasco of the government shutdown was nothing but a blackmailing ,hostage taking Tea Party terrorist act that has backfired and as usual conservatives like Bush NEVER EVER take responsibility for their behaviours but find others to blame .

Boehner and the Tea Party terrorists need more political coverage before they pass a clean CR and I suspect that coverage they will get in this evenings negotiations and it may happen tomorrow

    EDIT SARAH PALIN

I have little time or use for this con and in reply to her garbage I will post something I posted elsewhere :

A CR that has a caveat that defunds a passed/signed and SC vetted law is simply a non starter period as follows .

" First stupid and you are stupid , never in the history of the country has any party forced a government shutdown over a LAW especially one vetted by the SC. If Obama would have NOT refused to negotiate the effective end of an existing LAW ,anytime in the future any party could demand the end of any law as a partisan attack by holding Congress captive and threatening Congress and WE THE PEOPLE with their demands .

.THERE IS NOTHING TO COMPROMIZE ON ,NOTHING IF THE HOUSE TEA PARTY TERRORISTS WANT TO END OBAMA CARE ALL THEY HAD TO DO (AND THEY KNOW IT ) IS TO USE THE EXISTING REPEAL PROCESS, A PROCESS USED OFTEN IN THE PAST TO END A LAW . YOU GOT THAT MY LITTLE CON ??

OBAMA HAS NEVER EVER REFUSED TO COMPROMIZE ON THE DEBT CEILING NEVER .YOU GOT THAT MY LYING LITTLE CON ?? "

The House has already passed a CR.

    Obama is the only holdup.

I don't see any need for a new CR when the Senate has not even considered the one that was already passed. We are not going to go through the song and dance of appeasing Obama like last time.

Please check your information more carefully.

Source(s): No, Republicans have not conceded anything. Only the default will be averted. The government shutdown will continue, because there will be no CR to fund it until Obama stops his tantrum. Without the threat of default looming, Obama has very little incentive to budge on the CR, and he will make major political hay out of it for months. Boehner pulled a bone head move by letting Obama off the hook like this. It's all win for Obama, all lose for Republicans. I am giving up on Boehner at this point.

Because John Boehner won't bring it to a vote in the House. Until he does, no one can vote on it and it can't advance to the Senate.

Speaker Boehner is afraid of the Tea Party and of losing his job. He has the votes..
