I am 4ft 11 and still growing. What should the size of my horse be?

I'm 5'2 and ride a 13.3 and was about 5' when I started riding him, so for you I'd say 14h+ to be comfortable, bigger If you think you'll grow more. My ideal height is 14.1/14.2

I would say 14.1 to 14.3hh.

Keep in mind, its not just your height you need to worry about when finding out the correct horse size. You also need to know your weight and how much weight a specific horse is able to carry.

Some breeds (such as cobs and haflingers) are weight carriers. Others, such as an arab are not weight carriers.

For example: If you are like only 4ft, but weigh say 10 stone, you will not be able to ride a 12hh pony. Its just unfair on the pony because that person, would be way to heavy.

I'm 5ft4 and share a 16hh. I would suggest something at least 14.2hh. I find that I was fine fitting on a 14.2 until I reached 5'2.
