Video not showing on computer?
I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W650. I take a video on the SD card (8GB Ultra) and I can view the video on the camera. For proof it's on the SD card I remove it with the camera off and then turn on the camera and I can't find it.
When I connect the SD card to a computer Via the camera using the usb cable or I put it into a card reader, I can view all the previous video files but not the new one.
I've tried this on two windows 7 computers. I have also searched the web and found similar posts with no helpful answers.
Thanks in advance.
If you're still confused I'll do a video.
It's not that it won't play, it's that I can't find it.
How come I've done the method mentioned above for a long time with out trouble before.

most camcorders put the video into a hidden folder, for the very purpose to keep people from doing what you tried to do, that is mess with the file in a computer and then try and play it in the camcorder. if a camcorder file is altered in any way, trying to play it back in the camera will cause the camera operating system to crash, and you will have to send the camera back to the factory to be repaired.
most camcorders come with software to facilitate the transfer to a computer. load that on your computer and follow the instructions for saving the file.
