Should I text her if I'm not sure I like her?
I met this girl at an event yesterday and we exchanged numbers(she asked for mine first). She's kind of cute and I like talking to her. But I'm not sure I like her as someone more than a friend, though it may be because I have too much going on in my life right now and don't feel confident being committed to a relationship.
I might see her again next time at another event held by the mutual club we are in. I like talking to her but I don't want her to get the wrong idea that I'm interested in being more than friends right now.
Should I text her?

Yeah. You can text her, talk about stuff and treat her like a normal friend.
Don't flirt with her if you don't want her to get the wrong idea.
As time goes on, perhaps the things in your life will get better and then you and her can decide how to take it from there.

yes, text her and see her method of talking if she sounds interested in you then she likes you but if she just talks normally then she wants to be just friends and you said it yourself you aren't feeling confident to be committed to a relationship so don't force yourself to love her and if she happens to say i love you since she gave you her number first then you should tell her about your feelings.
