I can't remember it verbatim.
Dr Samuel Johnson was attending a dinner,in honour of the then Prince of Wales.
He was sat between 2 ladies,and they were talking about which of the rich eligible men they would want to be with.
SJ : Madam,would you sleep with Lord ..... for his money?
Lady ....: Yes,of course I would.
SJ : So then madam,would you sleep with a tramp for sixpence?
Lady.....: Of course not! Do you take me for some prostitute?
SJ : Madam,I have already established THAT fact,I'm just trying to find your price!
