Why did my FF 23 browser crash?

Question

I opened up FF 23. It is earmarked to go to Yahoo Mail. I open it up and blank screen. And blank screen. After thirty seconds I figure out it isn't going anywhere. I had a crash. Why did this happen? I am using Win Home 7. Premium. It happens quite a bit but only when I am in a hurry. All I did was open it. Nothing more. Does this happen to you?

Most likely it was a problem with the adobe flash player plug-in,
ensure that it is up to date.

Check your add ons and extensions on it.  Also run a scan with this and see what you find.
