Jehovah's Witnesses: You believe that Michael the Archangel and Jesus Christ are the same being, right?

Aside from Michael, no archangel is mentioned in the Bible. The Bible describes Michael as the archangel, implying that he alone bears that designation. Hence, it is reasonable to conclude that Jehovah God has delegated to one, and only one, of his heavenly creatures full authority over all other angels.

Aside from the Creator himself, only one faithful person is spoken of as having angels under subjection namely, Jesus Christ. (Matthew 13:41)

The apostle Paul made specific mention of “the Lord Jesus” and “his powerful angels.”

And Peter described the resurrected Jesus by saying: “He is at God’s right hand, for he went his way to heaven; and angels and authorities and powers were made subject to him.”

While there is no statement in the Bible that categorically identifies Michael the archangel as Jesus, there is one scripture that links Jesus with the office of archangel.

In his letter to the Thessalonians, the apostle Paul prophesied: “The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first.”

In this scripture Jesus is described as having assumed his power as God’s Messianic King. Yet, he speaks with “an archangel’s voice.” Note, too, that he has the power to raise the dead.

After his own resurrection, Jesus was raised to a “superior position” in heaven as a spirit creature. (Philippians 2:9)

No longer a human, he has the voice of an archangel. So when God’s trumpet sounded the call for “those who are dead in union with Christ” to be raised to heaven, Jesus issued “a commanding call,” this time “with an archangel’s voice.”

It is reasonable to conclude that only an archangel would call “with an archangel’s voice.”

there are other angelic creatures of high rank, such as seraphs and cherubs. Yet, the Scriptures point to the resurrected Jesus Christ as the chief of all angels Michael the archangel.

The Lord spoken of is Jesus and he speaks with the voice of the Archangel.

God gives all time in years, from Gen.1:26, God alone knows the day and the hour.

year 130], Jude 14,15, Enoch has 365 years[Adam dies year 930, Gen.5:5], Noah

evil violence, Noah has 350 years, Gen.9:28,29; son #10, Noah died year 2006,

Shem son #11, is age 448[of age 600]. Shem will die year 2158[after Sarah, Isaac's

mother, died age 127, year 2145, Isaac was age 37[of age 180, Gen.35:28, 29].

Abraham was age 137 [of age 175], Gen.25:7,9; Abraham dies, year 2183, the

covenant is 100 years old.

the raised up Jesus, Rev.1:1-3,5; Rev.3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the

Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the

beginning of the creation of God; QUESTION? Did the one we know as Jesus[who

is going to have a new name, Rev.3:12, was he nameless from the beginning of

creation, when one like the son of man, in the fiery furnace in the book of Daniel,

when Michael is all that is there, like Dan.12:1-13; 2619 years ago, Rev.12:3,4,6,

7-12; with the KJV Bible 402 years old at 2013 CE.

So for all who believe Jesus as we know him, was nameless all the whole time

of the Old Testament years, year 4004 when Rome took over Judah, when Jesus

as we know him, was with God before the world was, and it is shown, that he

will have a new name, Rev.3:12, but his God and Father does not do so.

Michael the first man on the earth, then Eve or first mother .

Jesus was the creator of the earth, and the creator of man, on the earth.

so how could he create himself, to be the first man on the earth to be the same person. Michael and Jesus.

The reason why JW believe that is not because of Scripture, but because of social conditioning and fear of being rejected.

JW's believe that God "created" Jesus.. and that being was the Angel Michael...

The problem is that they are too busy searching and picking out verses that disprove Jesus' Deity, without realizing the true answer is right under their noses, of course it does not help that they are blindsided by the Watchtower organizations false teachings... lets see..

The Jehovah witnesses say "Scriptural evidence indicates that the name Michael is applied to God’s son before he left heaven to become Jesus Christ." (Aid to bible understanding)

"Michael the Archangel, the first creation of Jehovah, before He came to earth and returned to the identity of Michael after his resurrection." (Aid To Bible Understanding, p. 1152).

If this is true then why does the bible say this...For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father"? Or again, "I will be his Father, and he will be my Son"? Hebrews 1:5

and yet another point..

The Watchtower teaches that Jehovah, the Father created only one thing directly... Jesus. It was Jesus according to the Watchtower who created "all other things" (Colossians 1:16 NWT; Insight, Vol. 1, p. 527).

So then Jesus, who is the creator of all, is not God..according to them.

We find the Bible contradicts the Watchtower interpretation in Isa. 44:24 "Thus says the Lord, your REDEEMER,who formed you from the womb “I am the Lord, who made ALL things,

who *ALONE stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth BY MYSELF. Do you see the predicament they are in?

God Almighty Jehovah is speaking here...

I am the same One. I am the first. Moreover, I am the last. Moreover, MY OWN HAND laid the foundation of the earth and MY OWN RIGHT HAND extended out the heavens Is. 48:12,13

What ever happened to in the Beginning God created the heavens and the earth? shouldn't the bible read in the beginning Michael the Archangel created the earth?

Thus Jesus, a creature, is said by J's W's as "A" God. the question then arises, is Jesus a true God or a false God? if He is a True God.. Then are there more than one god or is he a false god, if so then why would we do "obeisance" to him? Jehovah himself warned us of having no other Gods before him.

Rev.4:11 "you are worthy O Lord to receive glory honor and power, for you created all things and by your will they exist and were created". If Jesus here(creator) is called to receive honor and glory... Are J's W's then saying this is Jesus?

Jeremiah who was a reliable prophet (not like the WT) says in Jer.10:11 "The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth..." Remember they have said the only true God is Jehovah! Then what are they to do with Jesus who is called creator and "a god", is he to be eliminated with all the rest. That's a problem if you have two Gods even if one is almighty and the other mighty.What of the Father? If he did not make the heavens and the earth he too will perish !

Isaiah 43:10: "No God was formed before me, nor will be after me. I, I am Jehovah, and there is no other Savior but me." Isn’t Jesus the savior? God knows of no other Gods yet Jesus is another God.

Isaiah 44:6: "I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God."

Isaiah 45:5, 6: "I am Jehovah and there is no other, there is no other God except me. (this means mighty also) Though you do not know me, I have armed you so that it may be known from east to west that there is no one except me. I am Jehovah and there is no other."

Isaiah 46:9: "for I am God and there is no other."

No God spelled with a big G or little g. Any man or spirit being that is called "god" cannot be the true Deity. All others called "god" are false deity.

John called Jesus "a god" in John 1:1 and meant him to be another true God, a mighty God alongside the almighty would go against everything in the monotheistic teaching . The same goes for Thomas calling Jesus "my God" in John 20:28

also… Thomas said to him: 'My Lord and my God!'-John 20:28" (Greek Interlinear reading, literally: "The Lord of me and the God of me!") Their own Greek Interlinear shows ho theos. (INTERLINEAR 1985, p. 513)

what they believe is called polytheism, more than one god and worse yet they have an angel exalted as "a god." It does not matter if they worship him or not , they call him a god and creator. Jer 10:11 "the Gods that have not made the heavens and the earth shall perish…" Then what are they to do with Jesus who is called creator and "a god", is he to be eliminated with all the rest. That's the problem when you have two gods even if one is almighty and the other mighty. What of the Father? According to them he only created one thing, Jesus the angel. If he did not make the heavens and the earth he too will perish! So if Jesus who is called "a god" did not create it all, he goes the away with the rest of the false gods. this is what the bible says... see above verse in Jer..

If Jesus had been claiming to be only "a god" as J.W.'s teach, then He would not have been charged with "blasphemy" as in Jn 10:30 when they tried to stone Him for He made himself to be equal to God. Not another God, but claiming to be united with the one God, as the Greek language bears this saying "we are one"- in nature.

Yet the whole church believed him to be God. in Mt.16:16 He says, "I will build MY church" not Jehovah's.

Heb.1:6 The Father tells all the angels to worship the son. According to J.W’s they are not worshiping him but only giving obeisance. If this is true then the Father only gets obeisance also, since it is the very same word used to worship the Father in the bible.

Heb. 1:8 God the Father says to the Son "your throne O’ God is forever and ever." J.W’s change this to God is your throne. So instead of having the son God they now made an inanimate object God. The lengths they go to prove their false view.

Are we to believe that the whole of the bible is about the Arch-angel Michael and not of God! According to the Witnesses this would have to be the conclusion. Yet Jesus said the scriptures testify of him!

make no mistake about it: the Lord Jesus Christ is Deity. He came to this earth and suffered in human flesh for thirty-three years. He lived a perfectly sinless life, and then laid that life down as an eternal payment for your sins. HE is our only Redeemer...Mohammed didn't pay for our sins, because Mohammed wasn't God. Buddha didn't pay for our sins, because Buddha wasn't God. You can't pay for your sins, because you aren't God. Only Jesus Christ is sinless, because only Jesus Christ is God. He Alone can save your soul.. . It doesn't matter where heaven is or where we will live with Christ, or if we go house to house or call God Jehovah.. What matters is truly following Christ in honesty and truth, giving up all earthly desires to follow him in Spirit and truth...
