Is going to a junior college more preferable than going to a 4 year one?

    Yes, spend your first 2yrs at a Community College/Pathway Program. Then "transfer" to a 4-yr School to graduate with a 4 yr Degree.

    The answer really depends on you. You might be better suited for a junior college or for a 4 year college. The admissions committee at the 4 year college will help you decide if you are ready for a 4 year school. Or, ask your high school teachers.
