    Hi Antonio,

You may enable popup blocking on Internet Explorer to stop pop ups. Click Tools → Options → Privacy, and give a check on Turn on Pop up Blocker option.

Also, check the settings on the antivirus installed on the system for the pop up blocker option.

To improve system performance, you may follow the steps mentioned below:

*Run the Performance troubleshooter. It checks issues that might slow down your computer's performance:

Click on Start > click Control Panel > type troubleshooter > click Troubleshooting.

*Uninstall programs you never use from Programs and Features.

*Open Task Manager and monitor Processes by filtering Memory and CPU usage. Check the processes which take up most resources and close the ones you don`t need to ease the load.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks and Regards

Your repair guy is incompetent. You are infected with malware. The tip off is the pop up ads.

Download malwarebytes and install the free version. Update it and do a full scan. Go get a coffee, it may take some time. Remove everything it finds.

Reboot your computer and run it again.

Now do a full virus scan.

Once done download and install ccleaner and run the registry cleaner and the garbage cleaner.

You will see an immediate improvement.
